I’d have assumed WordPress was easier to use based on the “popularity” of it.
It is easy to employ. It is easy to flip switches and select drop downs. However, if you want a specific option, a particular customization, it might not be offered in a theme, may be hidden behind a pay wall, or might be layered in complexity of implementation so as to not be easily changed or always revert to a default setting on minor updates. *Sigh*
So many variations, so little actual options.
I’ve been leaning toward a front page through a separate WordPress instance, that’s not such a good idea at the moment unless I actually get some time on drafting my own theme under WordPress.
Do not hold your breath.
This is why you pay people for this. =D
