The Lumbridge Castle Cook happens to be a rather scatterbrained fellow. Keeping the Duke sustained with meals fit for a ... eh, duke, ... keeps him more than occupied. But now he has a birthday party to plan and deliver. The worst thing is that he's run out of satisfactory supplies. You find him whipped into a state. If you choose to help he would be most appreciative, even allowing you to use his ovens. He only needs the ingredients, but these are not ordinary ingredients. For a truely royal cake he needs the finest flour, the best milk, and a king-size egg. He also points out on the map where some of these things can be found. The three ingredients can be picked up in any order. |

Bucket (also near the prize cow on the ground) |
Gillie Groats maintains the dairy cows in the cow pasture east of the River Lum. She seems to be the ideal person to ask about superb milk. If you ask, she considers it an honor providing the best milk. She directs you to her prize cow near the east fence. Head east of her and milk the cow there. You need to have asked permission to be able to milk the cow. |

Farmer Fred has not only an onion patch and black sheep but also has chickens that lay some grade A extra large eggs. Enter his chicken pen and look in the southeast corner near the house. Pick up the Super large egg there. You can't pick up the egg unless you are doing the quest. |

Pot (also on a table in the mill) |
Heading north and a little west from Fred's you can find the mill. If you have flour in the bin at the bottom of the mill, skip to the next paragraph. Otherwise, pick some wheat from the field on the way. Climb to the top of the mill and use the wheat with the hopper. Activate the controls to grind the flour then climb back down. You can see Millie Miller there near the bin (and a pot on the table if you forgot to bring one). You can ask her about the flour being extra fine and just as was Gillie, she's only to happy to serve the Duke's household. She will set the millstones and you can take Extra fine flour from the bin. The fine flour can only be removed from the bin after you've asked Millie about it and during the quest. |

Returning to the Cook, he asks how you're doing, and you provide. Every item he needs that you have in your inventory is given. The Cook's job is saved ... but you still don't get to eat with the Duke ... yet. At least you get a little money, some wee fish, and the Cook will let you use his oven. |
