Hufflepuff Lenora Everleigh noticed some empty frames appeared on Hogwarts’ walls. She discovered that they respond to the spell Lumos, but she’s lost on what to do next.

The timeliness of their appearance can easily indicate their relation to the field guide explosion. When Lumos is cast near the empty frame, a nearby scene fills the formerly blank canvas. This also conjures an enchanted moth device near this displayed scene. The moth devices are drawn to lights similar to their living counterparts, including lit wands.

Find the scene shown with the moth. Use Lumos to attract the device. It will follow you as long as your wand remains lit. When you are near the frame, douse your wand. If you are close enough, the moth alights in the slot at the bottom of the canvas. The frame transforms into a field guide page, which you can return to the guide.

Lenora waits at the handrail above the location where the frame was placed. You can inform her of the solution you discovered. Now, you can collect the pages from all Moth Frames in Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.

• Drawing enchanted moth constructs is used in a few other ways in the game. Illuminated wands can also draw specific groups of fireflies.
