The Path begins the game. The quest starts as the opening cinematic hands off control to the player.
The portkey deposits Prof. Fig and the player in a cave near isolated oceanside ruins. An initiation to the operation of the avatar proceeds. Besides movement, we receive instruction in using wiggenweld potions to heal. As previously mentioned in the cinematic, Fig continues instructing the player in spellcraft and its uses, thus unlocking the basic spells.
The path leads to Gringotts. We meet various goblins and explore magical concealment, discovery, and combat. Goblin plots and conflict end up with a hasty retreat to where we wanted to end up after all. Fig and the player arrive at the Hogwarts grounds with barely enough time to make it to the castle and get ourselves sorted into our house. Prof. Weasley, the deputy headmistress, leads the character to their dormitory, and by the end of this day, we are ready to carry on at Hogwarts.
Backtrack after climbing the high wall before the keep bridge. A chest sits around the left corner of the path opposite the path to the broken keep bridge.
Through the broken banister and right between the bridge and the front of the ruins of the keep. Near a strange arrangement of dolls and empty packages, a chest rests on the left next to the wall.
The Vault 12 entryway, near the left wall beyond ropes, before reaching the desk of the goblin concierge.
Before Vault 12’s door, on the right of the platform.
Three chests in the dark ancient halls can be found with Revelio in between dealing with the pensieve guards and the first and second ancient magic fountains once you’re on your own. Find them southeast of the first conflict, northeast of the same point, and northwest of the second fountain. Considering the size of the space, the darkness, and the limitations of Revelio, there could be more.
Two chests, one in the right wall recess, one in the left recess, in the pensieve room.
