Who's Who

The marks of civilization are split into four groups. Castles and villages are the first kind. Those that live therein stand apart from the cities of virtue holding strongly for, against (in case of the castles) or silent (for the villages) in their feelings on the current rule. Then there are the keeps. Their lords side with their own interests for the most part, standing out of the way of direct conflict. Even so, the Keeps of the Principles stand alone. The townes come next, the eight cities of the virtues. Under the Laws of Virtue, and with constant shadowlord attacks, their populace has become closed and vulnerable. At any rate, the guards serve Blackthorn and their own greed, avoid them lest they force a toll of obeisance to him. Last are the dwellings, these include the lighthouses. Loneliest in their solitude, therein you might find an interesting character or two.
